MobilEyez

MobilEyez eyes are an art grant project from Basscoast Music Festival. I am honour to be one of the members at Orb Weaver Collective in collaborating on this project. MobilEyez is a hanging mobile designed to entrain audiences into a state of wonder and curiosity. Each piece provides the counterweight for the piece above, creating a mind-bending dynamic system of opposing forces suspended in complete balance. The mobile morphs in response to atmospheric flows of air, creating forms that ride the line between chaos and order. A cozy net invites people to focus upward towards the ephemeral faces of the sculpture and sky. Safe and suspended MobilEyes provides a space to reflect and to reconcile the opposing forces of the cosmos.

Geodesic Dome

Geodesic Dome is a reuse project from one of the Cabin Fever display in the Vancouver Art Gallery. It was initially designed to be shown on the ground, we came out with an idea of why not suspended to the ceiling and install a light in the middle. So people can have a different experience perspective when looking at the dome. It provides two very contrasting atmospheric feelings in the separation of the space. We like the strong contrasting of it to let people have the instant feedback of the art installation.
